Pet Acupuncture in Pensacola at Davis Animal Hospital
Davis Animal Hospital is now offering another modality to improve your pet's well-being: acupuncture. Acupuncture is the virtually painless insertion of a thin needle into specific points on the body that causes increased circulation, anti-inflammation, and muscle relaxation.
Conditions that acupuncture can help include soft tissue injuries, osteoarthritis, IVDD, neurological issues, and more. After the treatment, it can be common for your pet to feel a bit lethargic for 1-2 days, similar to getting a deep tissue massage. Each pet will respond to treatment differently and will therefore require a different number and frequency of treatments. Older pets that are slowing down and active young dogs with an acute injury can both benefit from acupuncture.
Davis Animal Hospital has two certified Veterinary Medical Acupuncturists in Dr. Hayley Jackson and Dr. Kelsey Erdos. Dr. Jackson has seven years of acupuncture experience under her belt and Dr. Erdos was recently certified earlier this year.
Call today to set up an initial consultation with our veterinary acupuncturists. We also offer acupuncture treatments in the comfort of your own home.
